She started her professional journey as an Assistant Professor in the Sanskrit Department at Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi, where she was eventually promoted to Associate Professor. In 2021, she moved to IGNOU, taking on the role of Professor in the Sanskrit Discipline and Director of the School of Humanities (SOH). Her research and specialization focus on Dharmshastra, Hindu Religion, and Literature. She has written six books and edited sixteen curriculum-based textbooks for IGNOU.
